| Phi
Alpha Kappa enjoys an active calendar of social events throughout
the year. Some of the most popular activities are: a canoe
trip, the Fall camping trip, the Spring Party, the Spring
Formal Banquet, and whirlyball. The athletic program of Phi
Alpha Kappa offers opportunities to compete in almost any
sport. In addition, there are many intrafraternity competitions,
such as a pledge vs. active football game, ping pong and pool
tournaments, and a bowling night.
A
Bible study has long been a regular item on the Phi Alpha
Kappa calendar. Each year interested members organize a
weekly Bible study or seek out various campus study groups
sponsored by the Campus Chapel, Inter-varsity Christian
Fellowship, the Christian Reformed Church of Ann Arbor,
the University Reformed Church, Campus Crusade for Christ,
or others.
Finally,
there is always the quiet evening which can be spent watching
TV, talking with a fraternity brother, reading in front
of the fireplace, or enjoying some friendly competition
in pool, ping pong, or darts.
