Our current house, 1010 East Ann Street, is considered a historical house. Based on this fact, Phi Alpha Kappa was able to obtain nonprofit status so that donations could be made as tax deductible. To collect and use this money to preserve the house, the Preservation Committee was created.

The Preservation Fund is used to preserve the physical condition and appearance of the house. The committee meets regularly to ensure that the structure of Phi Alpha Kappa is preserved..
