All residents of Phi Alpha Kappa are required to fulfill one house job and two kitchen jobs per week. House jobs include vacuuming, cleaning a bathroom, picking up a public room, etc. Kitchen jobs include dishwashing, setting and clearing the table, cook's help, waiter, etc. These jobs amount to roughly an hour to an hour and a half per week.

Members of Phi Alpha Kappa are required to participate in both the fall and the spring work days when we fix up and clean the house. Members are also required to attend the monthly house meetings, which are usually on the first Monday of every month.

Participation in fraternal events such as parties, social events, and athletic events, though not required, are strongly encouraged
